Just before getting all our stuff prepped for tomorrows airsoft I will be enjoying chicken in barbecue sauce on a bed of rice
Finally got a black Magpul Masada PTS these are getting harder to find as the tan coloured ones seem to be flavour of the month
Fitted with extending folding stock, vertical grip and RIS rails
Currently using a Aimpoint red dot but may change it to an Eotech 551
This may get used at some point on Sunday if get bored with my pimped G&P Cracker M4
The ASCU is now fitted together with a JBU high torque motor that I installed earlier
The result is a really fast firing single shot mode that always completes a full cycle without jamming. It will fire as quick as you can pull the trigger
Switching to auto enables a consistent three round burst just by tapping the trigger or full auto by holding it in
It has totally transformed the gun and will now out perform more expensive ones both in range and usability
Received my Airsoft Smart Control Unit today for my M4
It consists of a micro switch trigger and a MOSFET that adds active braking and a super fast trigger with a three round burst option. It will also make sure that the motor completes a full cycle eliminating the semi shot lock up that happens quite a lot
It will make my rifle feel more like the very expensive Systema PTW.
Should be fitted tonight and hopefully working for next Sunday

Tonight’s task was to obtain a few obscure items after work. To think that not many years ago it was virtually impossible to buy anything after hours unless it was from a petrol station, off license or a corner newsagent
Well it all went very well and I managed to buy exactly what I wanted. I could have shopped online making a decision based on a 100mm high two dimensional image then securely paid at the checkout sending my encrypted ones and zeros to complete the sale
But to actually pick up the goods, examine them and make a choice in the flesh is so much more rewarding
This particular level on Angry Birds has had me shouting at my phone. It looks simple but I keep ending up with one little pig to get
I endeavour to get past it before the night is over!
The weekend comes to a close, slightly aching after today’s kinect session the two player option is just so funny and rewarding. Has totally transformed the Xbox experience by reinvigorating it
I had no ill affects after last nights bottle of wine and actually felt quite good this morning
